With a grant from the PA Dept. of Education’s Office of Commonwealth Libraries, Greensburg Hempfield Area Library and the City of Greensburg renovated their 110-year-old building. Upgrades to the main and children’s libraries enhanced accessibility and energy efficiency. Renovations included new finishes, lighting, restrooms, and custom reception desks. The reception area was reoriented to face the entrance, transforming the formal lounge into a welcoming, casual reading space.
