Summary of Position
Ensures that efforts of the healthcare market are consistent with the technical, fiscal, and strategic objectives and standards of the firm. Proposes and implements policies and procedures to expand market for healthcare specific design services. Uses and promotes collaborative behavior between Studios and within project teams.
Qualifications
– Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited university
– 10-15 years of experience in healthcare market is typical
– American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA) Certification required.
– Experience with other institutional markets, including higher education is preferred.
– Entrepreneurial spirt and strong leadership qualities
– Exceptional skill set in quality project execution
– Expansive experience in personnel supervision
– Served as Principal-in-Charge or Project Manager on a substantial number of successful healthcare projects of varying sizes & scopes
– LEED or WELL Accreditation is preferred
– Revit usage with understanding of workflow and proficient knowledge of modeling
– Thorough understanding of the construction process sufficient to coordinate with contractor
– Experience in all levels of project management including construction document preparation and field observation.
– Able to maintain versatility of Project Roles, depending on firm needs and project size.

Summary of Position
Unlicensed individual that works independently on various projects of small to medium size, often concurrently. May oversee the entire design process or assist as a technical expert on a specialized design. Possesses and exhibits experience in multiple areas of architectural design and construction. This position is considered a transition to a licensed architect.
Qualifications
– 3-5 years of professional experience
– Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture from an accredited university or equivalent skill set and technical expertise as determined by the firm Ownership.
– Min. 3 years of Revit usage
– Basic knowledge of AutoCAD & Photoshop
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Windows OS , Power Point
– Basic knowledge or proficient in Sketch-up, InDesign
– Organized, motivated, dedicated, efficient
– Enrollment and continued progress in Architectural Experience Program (AXP)
– Baseline experience in personnel supervision
– Competent knowledge of building materials, and construction techniques
– Ability to communicate professionally with clients, consultants and contractors (written and verbal)
– Sufficient knowledge of engineering disciplines to coordinate work
– Knowledge of professional ethics applying to the practice of Architecture.
– Understanding of the construction process sufficient to coordinate with contractor
– Experience on a small scale (ex. tenant fit-outs) in project management including construction document preparation and field observation.
– Able to maintain versatility of Project Roles, depending on firm needs and project size.
– Experience in coordination with governmental agencies and zoning ordinances.
– Must possess current knowledge of applicable building codes and regulations.
– Knowledge of firm specification software & specification development.

– Professional registration. NCARB certification preferred.
– Certification is preferred in one or more content areas (LEED, PHIUS, Revit, CSI, etc.).
– Min. 5 years of Revit usage with advanced knowledge of modeling.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Bluebeam. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD & Photoshop.

The Construction Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for leading projects from early planning through construction completion, ensuring the firm’s design intent is executed accurately while keeping projects on schedule, on budget, and in compliance with contract documents. This role bridges the architecture team, clients, consultants, contractors, and permitting agencies. It combines deep involvement in preconstruction planning, including feasibility, budgeting, constructability, coordination, and scheduling, with comprehensive construction administration (CA) responsibilities such as submittal management, RFIs, site observations, and contract enforcement. This role is intended to expand to a director level position to provide Construction Manager as Advisor (CMa) services on behalf of the firm.
