Franklin Park Fire Station outgrew its previous facility, prompting the design of a new 18,706 SF, two-story station that integrates training into daily operations. The concept centers on a dual-purpose layout where building elements serve both operational and training functions. This approach ensures firefighters can efficiently perform duties while continuously developing skills and collaboration. The design makes training an active, embedded part of everyday life at the station.
