The Morgantown office of a national digital security company needed to be minimalistic, allow a lot of natural light into the space, and feel high-tech, while maintaining compartmentalized security clearances.
Create a plan that works.
We envisioned the building in two, simple rectangular shapes to create a natural separation between client- and high-security work spaces. It also allowed the office to be divided into quadrants assigned for different security levels and active projects.
Giving form to vision
With the context of multiple nationwide offices, the client had a complete idea of their specific needs. We used these parameters to ensure design was accomplishing these functionality requirements.
Working out the details
The project was meant to be a relatively inexpensive exterior shell with a more refined and high-tech interior space. This was achieved by using a pre-engineered steel structure for the two, main building masses while using bright-purple colors and modern finishes for the interior.
Building your vision.
We utilized pre-engineered structure to get it up and running quickly. This saved time for coordinating the intricacies of the power, data, and security infrastructure in a building with such intensive technology needs.
Maximizing your investment
The end-result embodies the client’s security needs while also allowing its team the ability to relax with plentiful exterior and interior amenities from a well-stocked lounge to extensive landscaping to the wooded West Virginia hillsides.
