Pittsburgh & Morgantown Based Firm Adds Leadership to Support New Growth
Pittsburgh, PA/Morgantown, WV (05/18/2022) – Desmone has added Rebecca Lowe, Jared Korchok, and Joshua Frick as Associate Shareholders in early April, bringing the total number of owners to eleven.
Rebecca Lowe has been named an Associate at Desmone. During her ten years of employment, Becky has served as Project Manager for a wide range of projects, as well as becoming a studio leader in 2019. As an expert in architectural software, she is directly involved with implementing drawing standards throughout the firm. She also has served as a mentor for younger designers. As a member of the inaugural class of the AIA Pittsburgh Leadership Institute for Emerging Professionals, Becky is dedicated to design work both inside and outside of Desmone.
Jared Korchok started working at Desmone over ten years ago as an intern, became licensed as an architect in 2019, became studio leader in December of the same year, and now has been named Associate as well. During this time, the firm’s staff has almost tripled in size. Jared’s previous work in the region fostered skills in digital modeling, adaptive reuse, and new construction project development as well as construction administration skills. His detailed, technical work in both the design and communication aspects of his work shows his abilities well.
Joshua Frick, architect and studio leader at the Morgantown office, has also been named an Associate. With eleven years of professional experience, he has proven his ability to perform complex design work. Licensed as an architect in 2016, his work at Desmone ranges from such diverse markets as multi-family to hospitality to educational facilities. His appreciation of both the scientific and artistic aspects of architectural work leads to creative, functional spaces for every client.
