Yesterday, we teamed with a group of top local talents to present the four keys to content marketing success, and what it means for the future of AEC Marketing.  Let’s face it, we’re experiencing a generational shift (whether we like it or not) that has clients consuming information differently.  One to one contact will never die, but it’s important that you understand why content marketing is important to the future of our industry.

what is content marketing?

Content marketing is a strategic approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a highly targeted audience — and, ultimately, to drive customer action. Content isn’t a new initiative, but the way we distribute it certainly is. Creating relevant content for your audience provides them with an educational experience in a topic of interest. The key word here is educational.  Content Marketing isn’t about simply promoting your brand, it’s about educating your current and future clients about what sets you apart from the rest.  Everyone these days can throw together a nice company profile and project sheets.  That’s far from unique.  Clients need substance.  Content marketing will help you get there.

  3. Plan, Execute & Amplify
  4. Measure

There’s no overnight recipe to learn the mechanics of how each of these key steps work.
