We’re ready to work on impactful projects that elevate communities and economic development throughout Ohio. Desmone has served as a catalyst for development and positive change in neighborhoods throughout Pittsburgh and West Virginia. The company brand has a great relationship both with developers and community stakeholders through their projects, and I am excited to grow that reputation. – Amber Koriath

Over the past year, Desmone has created numerous opportunities in the Northeast Ohio market. They are reimagining the BRITE Energy Incubators headquarters in Warren, OH. BRITE Energy is the nation’s leading energy incubator, and they propel much of the innovation in electric vehicle manufacturing for the FoxxCon, / Lordstown Motors manufacturing plants. BRITE also has over 60 start-up companies throughout Ohio under their umbrella and are working to commercialize additional electrical technology.

Additionally, Desmone has helped launch a massive redevelopment in the heart of downtown Youngstown. They proposed a full transformation of a 400,000 SF historic department store into a mixed-use food hall, office, apartment, and rooftop amenities development. The current budget is approximately $74 million, and Desmone is working with the City of Youngstown and its regional partners to apply for grants and raise additional capital to fund the project.  Desmone also authored a grant to acquire $6.9 million from the state of Ohio to assist in the demo/remediation scope.  In the past 7 months, they have established a realistic pathway to allocate over $66 million toward the project and are working to make it happen.

Desmone, partnered with developer Somera Road, is in the early stages of conceptual design on a transformative project for Cleveland’s Gateway District on Bolivar Road. They have developed a great reputation among regional and city officials and continue to search for other transformative opportunities to launch in neighborhoods seeking positive change.
