Senior Interior Designer

Pittsburgh, PA
Full Time

Qualifications:

  • 11+ years of experience is typical
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Interior Design from an accredited university or
    equivalent skill set and technical expertise as determined by the firm Ownership
  • Professional NCIDQ certification achieved through the Council for Interior Design
    Qualification
  • Certification is preferred in one or more content areas (LEED, PHIUS, Revit, CSI, etc.).
  • Min. 5 years or working knowledge of Revit usage with advanced knowledge of
    modeling
  • Basic knowledge or proficiency in AutoCAD & Photoshop, 3DMax, Sketch-up, InDesign
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Windows OS, PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, able to present and convey Desmone’s capabilities and
    experience, project portfolio, and/or design direction during internal and external
    events, business development, client engagement, and project meetings
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
  • Organized, motivated, dedicated, efficient
  • Significant experience in personnel supervision
  • Strong knowledge of standard office policies and procedures
  • Significant knowledge of interior finish materials, specifications and construction
    techniques
  • Excellent communication with consultants and contractors (written and verbal)
  • Strong knowledge of engineering disciplines to coordinate work
  • Strong knowledge of professional ethics applying to the practice of Interior
    Architecture
  • Thorough understanding of the interior construction process
