With over 32 years of experience, Ned Luthy joins Desmone Architects in our Morgantown Office. Originally from Flagstaff, Arizona, Ned received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Arizona in 1986. Ned has Iived and practiced in several states throughout the Southwestern, Northwestern and Midwestern United States prior to moving to Morgantown. “The projects that I have worked on are as varied the geographical locations I have lived in,” he claims.
Throughout his many years of leadership experience at previous firms, Ned was a Project Manager for FirstEnergy Transmission Headquarters at the Hi-Tech Park in Fairmont, WV, as well as the WV State Office Building in Fairmont, Canaan Valley Institute in Davis, WV and several projects with Federal Agencies. In this role, he was responsible for the overall project process from Pre-Design through Construction.
What drew Ned to our Morgantown Office was the “start-up office vibe with the generational background,” he says. Ned is excited to be one of the five members to who make up the Morgantown Office. Ned is an AIA member, licensed architect registered in West Virginia, a member of NCARB, and was a board member of the Fairmont Community Development Partnership for 6 years. When Ned isn’t in the office, he is enjoying the state of WV, Woodworking, Kayaking, Cooking, Hiking, and Golfing.
