Carnegie Museums Education Center

Built on the ground floor beneath the Dinosaurs in Their Time atrium, the new Center for Museum Education is an 18,500 SF facility, combining six technologically equipped classrooms, a Distance Learning Studio, and space to orient school visitors. A new private entrance allows students to disembark from their buses, away from the busy Forbes Avenue thoroughfare. Opened in late 2007, the CME is also expected to be a catalyst for collaborative educational programming among all four Carnegie Museums.
